Synopsis. The gates to the city of Aruk are raised, and Maax (Rip Torn), high priest of the city's patron god, Ar, rides in with two underling priests. He goes to the central ziggurat that serves as the city's temple, and meets with three witch-women in its interior. The witches appear as shapely women with hideously disfigured faces.
Plot. In the kingdom of Aruk, witches tell high priest Maax [ / ˈmeɪ.æks / MAY-aks] a prophecy that he will die at the hands of King Zed's unborn son. Maax sends one of his witches to kidnap and kill the child. The witch magically transport the child from his mother's womb and into a bull.
