Sprout is a male Earth pony in the fifth generation of My Little Pony. He is the former deputy sheriff of Maretime Bay, serving with Hitch Trailblazer who is the sheriff. He serves as the main antagonist of My Little Pony: A New Generation and a supporting character of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark.
While Sprout may have been the main antagonist, Phyllis was the true villain. She spend Celestia knows how many years spouting propaganda and anti Pegasi and Unicorn stuff, and as her son, Sprout obviously felt more aggravation toward them than any pony else.
10 de abr. de 2022 · Tell Your Tale's background dropped this neat little tidbit off for some kind of potential future story. It looks like Sprout might actually be on the run based on a wanted poster in the window of the Maretime Bay sheriffs department.

There's no reasoning with Sprout, because Sprout isn't rationally afraid, or fearful in the same way that most of the other ponies of all the tribes are. I'll give you for the majority of the movie Sprout is behaving irrationally, even erratically.
