I definitely like this better than the original Silent Hill 2 cover art. I never understood why Angela was featured on the cover; she's a great character but not nearly as important to the story as Maria.
Silent Hill 2 is often called one of the greatest works of art in the survival horror video game medium. Many players consider Silent Hill 2 to be the magnum opus of the Silent Hill series. The deep emotional provocative psychological storyline, atmosphere, and music was well-praised.

Silent Hill 2 was first released for the PlayStation 2 in North America on September 24, 2001, in Japan on September 27 and in Europe on November 23. The original European edition also included a second disc: a "Making-of" DVD video featuring trailers, an artwork gallery and a documentary on the game's development.
Very High Res Covers For Silent Hill 2 & 3. Thanks for these. I may print off the SH2 one because I'm a PAL gamer and our Director's Cut cover is hideous with the ugly grey 'Platinum' border and black and red colour scheme in the middle. (I associate SH2 with blues and greens).
Once again a tribute to this game of this incredible franchise, Silent Hill with the best, deepest and most dramatic plot of all.
