Richard Kuklinski was born on April 11, 1935, in his family's apartment on 4th Street in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Stanley Kuklinski ( né Stanisław Kukliński; 1906–1977), a Polish immigrant from Karwacz, Masovian Voivodeship.
