19 de oct. de 2021 · At the beginning of Grant Morrison and J.G. Jones' Final Crisis, Martian Manhunter was killed off for the first time. This happened when the longtime Justice League hero was captured by the villainous Libra, who brought the injured martian as a gift to the Human Flame, a member of J'onn J'onnz' rogues gallery.
Martian Manhunter seemingly died while trying to stop a series of bombings. However, it was revealed that there were still pieces of him that lived on after he landed on Earth, and they began to bring him back together.
His fellow policemen believed he must have died. J'onn took this as an opportunity to abandon his double life. He allowed the police department (even Diane Meade) to believe he had died, and as the Martian Manhunter he even attended his own funeral. 19 de nov. de 2022 · The Martian Manhunter’s final fate also puts a tragic spin on his story as well. He was ripped from his family, and brought to a strange planet, and while he was able to one day return, it was to a dead world.
