Juggernaut (Cain Marko) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist/co-writer Jack Kirby , he first appeared in X-Men #12 (July 1965) as an adversary of the eponymous superhero team . [4]

Due to his close association with mutants like his step-brother Charles Xavier, the X-Men, Excalibur, Black Tom Cassidy and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Cain Marko is often considered a mutant himself on Earth-616,[1] and is in fact also sometimes truly a mutant in some realities.[2][3] This is possibly also due to lack of research from the authors.
