While I agree that Firestorm and Captain Atom have more in common with Hulk (science, military background), I wouldn't underestimate the potential for a Martian Manhunter Amalgam. You could do a John Carter of Mars-esque story with Saul Erdel/Bruce Banner getting transported to Mars/Sakaar when "turning" into Hulk/Martian Manhunter.
