Set during the George W. Bush presidency, Harold and Kumar start the film by unfairly being thrown into prison at Guantanamo Bay.
Harold and Kumar take an ill-fated flight to Amsterdam, but Kumar's suspicious-looking bong is mistaken for a bomb. Their arrest prompts a racist Homeland Security official to send the boys to indefinite lockup at Guantanamo Bay.
