Razzle's death, Rock & Roll Divorce, and break-up (1984–1985) On 8 December, Hanoi Rocks band members (except for Michael Monroe, who was recuperating from his fractured ankle) were partying with their friends Mötley Crüe, at lead singer Vince Neil's house. The party stopped when everybody noticed they were out of beer.
Nicholas Charles Dingley (2 December 1960 – 8 December 1984), better known by his stage name Razzle, was an English musician, who was the drummer of the Finnish glam rock band Hanoi Rocks from 1982 until his death.
Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe caused a car crash in 1984 that killed Hanoi Rocks drummer Razzle and injured two others. Neil received a sentence of 30 days in jail, probation, a fine, and community service, raising issues about celebrity justice. The accident influenced Mötley Crüe’s “Theatre of Pain” album and led to Hanoi Rocks’ disbandment in 1985.

16 de may. de 2019 · Vince Neil, Mötley Crüe’s lead vocalist, has been arrested and convicted of multiple crimes, but none as tragic as his manslaughter conviction for killing his friend Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley, drummer of the Finnish band Hanoi Rocks, in a drunk driving accident in 1984.
