The Princeton Triangle Club is a theater troupe at Princeton University. Founded in 1891, it is one of the oldest collegiate theater troupes in the United States. Triangle premieres an original student-written musical every year, and then takes that show on a national tour.
Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, with the help of several recent Princeton Triangle Club graduates, are performing four songs for which F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote the lyrics when he was an undergraduate at Princeton (1914 – 1916 ... he didn’t quite graduate with the class of 1917).

Although he was never a cast member in a Triangle production, Fitzgerald wrote three shows for the Club between 1914 and 1917.During 1917-18, a four man Triangle troupe toured Europe to entertain the soldiers stationed there for World War I.
Fitzgerald had to retake courses during the summer to become a sophomore, and his poor grades that fall prevented him from traveling with the Triangle show. He believed, however, that he was still on track to head Triangle and achieve great prominence.
