Communards is the debut studio album by British synth-pop duo the Communards, released on 12 July 1986 by London Records. The album was produced by Mike Thorne, who had previously produced lead singer Jimmy Somerville's earlier band, Bronski Beat.

They are most famous for their cover versions of " Don't Leave Me This Way ", originally by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes featuring Teddy Pendergrass , and of the Jackson 5 's " Never Can Say Goodbye ".
