Typically, Bard students have prepared for college by taking honors or advanced placement courses in a curriculum that includes four years of English, social studies, mathematics, laboratory science, and a foreign language. Yet admission to Bard takes into account your whole story.
Students should only request results to be sent electronically to Bard College directly from TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test, and not physical documents to be mailed. For TOEFL, Bard's institutional code is 2037. For IELTS, students should request their electronic results to be sent to Bard College Undergraduate Admission.

About the Entrance Examination. The Bard Entrance Examination is an online essay test open only to high school juniors and seniors. Completion of the test is equivalent to an application for admission. Candidates who score B+ or higher will receive an offer of admission.
