Just curious about what the general consensus seems to be about using Vortex for Nexus Mods. It sounded useful, but it didn't seem to work super well when I tried it (I could've messed up or made a mistake in trying to use it for Cyberpunk too soon). Purging is not destructive. Purging removes the mods, deploying installs them. Where you may have issues is if you installed/messed with any mods outside of Vortex. If you were to edit a texture/mod within your game folder (outside of Vortex), then those changes would be uninstalled during purging. If you didn't do this, it shouldn't ...

Vortex has more functionality, is more stable and as user friendly if not more than NMM. Theres multiple safety precautions to prevent new users from breaking their game unlike NMM. Not bothering to look up a 5min set up video and calling it bad is just bad practice.

24 de jul. de 2019 · Vortex crashes when trying to install certain (not all) mods with a c# scripted installer. Cause: Vortex currently (up to 0.16.12) does not deal well with unhandled exceptions from the installer script.
