3 de oct. de 2023 · The Sentinel HASP driver uses communications port 1947 on your computer. Make sure applications other than Sentinel HASP and firewalls do not block this port. Port 1947 is registered with the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) by Aladdin/SafeNet/Gemalto.
The FARO Sentinel License Manager Service (HASPlms) is a component of the Sentinel HASP driver. This service uses port 1947 to authenticate your FARO product license key. To use your FARO software, this service must be running properly. If another service is running on port 1947, FARO software cannot successfully run the license manager service.
The port 1947 is an access point used by the Sentinel HASP Admin Control Center to perform various actions related to the administration of HASP dongle. To allow this program to communicate through port 1947, all you need to do is adding the program to the list of allowed programs (also called exceptions list) in Windows Firewall.
Workaround 2: Use Sentinel HL keys with Firmware version 4.2x. 12506: Sentinel LDK communicates via TCP and UDP on port 1947. This port is IANA-registered exclusively for this purpose. At the end user site, the firewall must be configured so that communication via this port is not blocked.
