1 Scope. This document specifies a method for determining the puncture resistance of board using a pendulum device. This document is applicable to all types of board, including corrugated fibreboard and solid board, especially those used in the manufacture of packaging cases.
The test principle consists of puncturing a board sample with a striking head, triangular pyramid shaped, and fixed to a pendulum.
