Post-Crookedstar's Promise AU, where four kits were born to Willowbreeze and Crookedstar instead of three, following the fourth kit, but occasionally switching perspectives. Set immediately after Crookedstar's Promise and goes up to 1YBF, or a year before Firestar came to the forest.

Frecklewish convinces Bluefur to keep her kits in ThunderClan, saving Mosskit. (This also ties into another AU.) Oakstar convinces Pinestar to stay in the Clans and to guide Tigerkit, telling Pinestar to ignore the StarClan cats who tell them to kill his own son.
