17 de mar. de 2023 · With the Sparas tooth that Philo retrieves from Berwick’s body, Tourmaline finds out the Sparas is Mikulas Vir (Andrew Buchan), a military officer that came to The Burgue as part of the Pact delegation. Meanwhile, at Balefire Hall, Imogen figures out that Vir is New Dawn by watching his and Kastor’s mannerisms.
Millworthy meets with Major Mikulas Vir and they discuss the upcoming weapons deal between The Burgue and The Pact. As part of his plan to potentially open up the Row sooner, Millworthy advises Vir to press the Chancellor for the weapons and ask for the deal to be completed sooner than either side thought possible.
Mikulas Vir encourages Runyon to join because of the calls for reprisal against the faefolk and the proposed razing of Carnival Row. Constable Berwick visits Philo, believing that all of the crimes are connected and designed to incite conflict between The Burgue and the fae.
