19 de abr. de 2016 · I have found the 3/8" size works for bows with small tips and the 1/2" size works for most other bows. Use a bit of string wax on the tip to keep waterproof if you hunt in the rain. They do the job, are cheap, stay on during the shot and don't interfere with the string.
2 de may. de 2012 · I decided to make limb tip protectors for my recurve as I've already taken a tiny chip off top tip. It was very small, 2-3mm, and I sanded it to fix it up as well as giving it a quick dab of lacquer--- but I'd like to prevent something worse from happening.
