Monsters University is a 2013 American animated comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the prequel to Monsters, Inc. (2001).
It is the fourteenth film produced by Pixar and is the prequel to 2001 's Monsters, Inc., with John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Steve Buscemi, Bob Peterson, and John Ratzenberger reprising their roles as James P. Sullivan, Mike Wazowski, Randall Boggs, Roz, and the Yeti, respectively.
Plot. Six-year-old Mike Wazowski goes on a class trip to the Monsters, Inc. factory. When the class reaches the Scare Floor, Scarer Frank McCay tells them that he learned how to scare from Monsters University. Mike manages to sneak in the Scare Floor and follow Frank to the door he is about to open.
