27 de ago. de 2022 · The British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS) jeopardy score is a quantification of the extent of myocardial jeopardy relating to clinically significant coronary artery stenoses.
The jeopardy score is a simple method for estimating the amount of myocardium at risk on the basis of the particular location of coronary artery stenoses. In patients with a previous myocardial infarction, higher jeopardy scores were associated with a lower left ventricular ejection fraction.
Our aim was to investigate whether quantifying the extent of coronary disease on angiography can predict the presence of an ischemic etiology. We included 176 patients who underwent CMR and coronary angiography for new heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.

Subsequent assessments of the SS both within the SYNTAX trial and in external datasets have demonstrated the score's ability to predict adverse ischemic events in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) .
Angiographic characteristics predicting ischemic events included number of diseased vessels, moderate/severe calcification, worst percent diameter stenosis, jeopardy score, lower left ventricular ejection fraction, lesion eccentricity, and thrombus.
