Deputy Mitchell "Mitch" Rogers was one of Sheriff Will Teasle's deputies for the Ligget County sheriff's department and is a minor character in First Blood. Mitch was played by David Caruso, who is best known for playing Horatio Caine in C.S.I Miami.

First Blood is a 1982 American action film directed by Ted Kotcheff and co-written by and starring Sylvester Stallone as Vietnam War veteran John Rambo. It co-stars Richard Crenna as Rambo's mentor Sam Trautman and Brian Dennehy as Sheriff Will Teasle.
The film begins after the war, in America in December of 1981. Rambo is searching for one of his friends from his unit, Delmar Barry, and soon learns that he has died from cancer due to Agent Orange exposure back in Vietnam. Rambo knows he is now the last surviving member of his unit.
