The entity is similar to those found in It Follows or Drag Me To Hell, maybe even Pennywise or the Babadook. However, it goes deeper than being an ‘evil creature’, a curse, or a demon. The entity is something like Cthulhu. Hear me out; in the end of the film, when the entity’s true form is revealed, we see Rose totally shut down.
