5 de mar. de 2022 · Things like searching for a card by name. Some may have gotten fancy and done some searching for a new EDH deck using the “Advanced Search” option. Scryfall goes much deeper than that, however, and you can create some incredibly powerful searches when you need those very specific cards.
If you just enter a word e.g. draw, the game searches for it in card names, type lines and the rule text. Otherwise, a search term has three parts, where to look, matching criterion and what to look for, e.g. name=shock: search names (where) exactly (criterion) for the word “shock” (what).
While regex is still really useful for searching for more obscure qualities (for example, just yesterday I used it to specifically search for cards that make enchantment tokens), for more widespread qualities like lifegain, removal, reanimator, counterspell, etc. the Scryfall tags are usually easier to use and can find many edge ...
