Ruby Rose Langenheim (born 20 March 1986) [1] is an Australian model, actress, disc jockey, and television presenter. She was a presenter on MTV Australia (2007–2011), followed by several high-profile modelling gigs, including Maybelline New York in Australia.
Ruby Rose is the main titular protagonist of RWBY. She is a Huntress, having been trained at the now defunct Beacon Academy. Her weapon of choice is her High-Caliber Sniper-Scythe known as Crescent Rose, which she designed herself. Ruby first appeared in the "Red" Trailer, visiting the grave of her mother, Summer Rose.
