17 de mar. de 2020 · If anyone is to blame about the current common depiction of the wendigo it would be the director of the 2001 film The Wendigo, Larry Fessenden. He did everything depicted in this image. It looks just like the wendigo in the movie. In fact, Fessenden didn't even do any research about the wendigo until after the film was released.
16 de feb. de 2023 · Werewolves turn back into humans at dawn, wendigos don't. All the wendigo has to do is stall out the timer until the werewolf changes form and is a practically defenceless human. Werewolves don't like water, while wendigos aren't bothered by it. This means that the wendigo could feasibly stay in water all night and be safe from the werewolf.
2 de nov. de 2023 · Exactly, dealing with the wendigo is 1,000times worse than a horde of walkers. The actual spirit even moreso because at least with it's in-game counterpart, you need to move for them to see you and they aren't all that smart, whereas mythological wendigos don't have movement based sight and are said to still retain their intellect meaning they could even outsmart people👀

I suspect it left Hannah after she got torched (you can see the Wendigo spirits leave the cabin when it zooms out) and then found Josh wandering around, lost in his hallucinations. He'd be quite easy to possess, I reckon, because making him consume human flesh in such a state during a dissociative episode and probably already weakened physically as well would be made so much easier without him ...

29 de nov. de 2022 · But yeah you can't save Josh at any point in the game. It's not like the other playable characters where it's actual life or death situations. Spoilers!!! No matter what he doesn’t fully get saved. He either dies or becomes a Wendigo. If you don’t want him to die you need to find as many twin clues as Possible.

So he killed the makitipew to avenge them. The wendigo were never extinct. They had only been trapped in the sanatorium by the flamethrower guy, but mike had set them all lose on accident.
