This doesn't seem right at all, Leopardon isn't as big as sorrento's mechagodzilla, it's shorter than raideen as well, Ultraman was the one that matches exactly with sorrento's mechagodzilla. That's what mentioned in the book atleast.

Rather than a real machine, it exists as a powerful magical artifact in a virtual-reality game called the OASIS, piloted by the leader of Innovative Online Industries, Nolan Sorrento.
While in the novel of Ready Player One Mechagodzilla fights against Ultraman, in the film (due to licensing issues) the kaiju fights against the Iron Giant and the RX-78-2 Gundam instead. Mechagodzilla reappears in the 2021 film MonsterVerse movie Godzilla vs. Kong.
