The percentage of OM-bound Hg was 2.34% to 73.7% of total Hg content varying with the amount of clay and Fe-oxides.

1 de may. de 2019 · They added Hg 0 and HgCl 2 to three surface soil samples of pH 5.6–5.8 containing 1.6–2.7% OM and monitored the Hg transformation via thermodesorption. After maintaining the samples in ambient temperature or low temperature (4 °C) dark conditions a large portion of Hg 0 was oxidized to Hg 2+ (~36–88%).
