South West London - Yuppies around Clapham, Battersea, Putney and Balham, the rest is mainly middle class family areas. East London - Mix of immigrants and hipsters. Generally a poorer area, but gentrifying fast.
12 de oct. de 2018 · East London was home to the city’s industry, its industrious workforce, its docklands and warehouses, cobbled streets and canals, while the West is just where William the Conqueror set up shop, a safe distance from the powerful city government of the true London.
Grew up in East London but lived in West London when I left rehab. I much prefer west London. Having said that I'm comparing working class East London to posh West London like South Kensington and Notting Hill.
