31 de may. de 2022 · The Lower Third, a tribute to David Bowie's former band, will replace the 12 Bar Club on Denmark Street, a historic music venue. The Outernet also launches HERE, a 2,000-capacity live events space in Soho, as part of its immersive media and culture district.
Holding the echoes of iconic artists like the Sex Pistols, David Bowie, and Elton John, this space once witnessed the genesis of numerous musical revolutions. Today, with a capacity of 230 standing and 65 seated in a theatre style, it’s primed to host a new era of moments.
31 de may. de 2022 · The Lower Third is one of two new music venues opening in central London this summer as part of the Outernet project. It will host live music, dance, comedy and more, with a capacity of up to 2,000.
The Lower Third is a music and cocktail bar situated at the heart of Central London on Denmark Street, less than a minute’s walk from Tottenham Court Road station. Steeped in rich musical and cultural history, The Lower Third is an iconic hub celebrating community and creativity in all its forms.
25 de ago. de 2022 · Outernet is a new development that includes HERE, a 2,000 capacity venue, and The Lower Third, a smaller club space. The Lower Third is a tribute to David Bowie and will host emerging music acts in a refurbished venue that was once 12bar.
Our district offers a brand new 2,000 capacity venue called HERE at Outernet, and a more intimate dive bar venue called The Lower Third to support emerging artists. We’ve also partnered with the BPI to build a not-for-profit recording studio on the iconic Denmark Street whose music shops we’ve restored.
