24 de nov. de 2019 · Depending on your keyboard layout, there might be an AltGr key on the on-screen keyboard. Type osk into the search box on the taskbar and then choose "On-Screen Keyboard" from the choices that appear. With AltGr pressed, the € symbol appears in the top row for me (UK keyboard layout) but not sure where it would appear in other layouts.
31 de oct. de 2013 · The basic Italian keyboard layout as shipped with Windows 7 has no way of typing the backtick (`) or the tilde (~). I checked this using Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator (MSKLC), with that layout loaded into it. I presume that this layout is more or less standard in Italy, though of course Microsoft might have its own oddities here.
I am accidentally hitting a key combination that turns accenting on in an application. For example, the / key is being rendered as é and I don't know how to turn it off.
12 de ene. de 2010 · I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this, but how can I enter the ^ (I can't see it in my keyboard) that is part of the control sequence: CTRL-^? The ^ character is often called caret, circumflex, or hat.
The best way is to pull the key out of the keyboard. You will never need it, so why should it stay and complicate it with software and registry editors? Just pull the key out. Nothing bad will happen. You can pull it back anytime, but you won’t for sure. It is useless.

On Windows 8, you can find "Keyboard" in the Control Panel. From there, open up the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center. Under Keyboard, Basic settings, there's a list of special keys. Click on one of them, click on "View all commands". Below there, "Media commands" includes "Next Track", "Previous Track" and "Play/pause" among others.
