Geoffrey Arnold Beck (24 June 1944 – 10 January 2023) was an English guitarist. He rose to prominence as a member of the rock band the Yardbirds, and afterwards founded and fronted the Jeff Beck Group and Beck, Bogert & Appice.
16 de ago. de 2022 · Jeff Beck has unveiled a United States tour this fall in support of his new album, “18,” which is a collaboration with Johnny Depp. Along for the ride will be bassist Rhonda Smith, who has been in Beck’s group for over a decade.
He entered as a member of the Yardbirds in 1992 and as a solo artist in 2009. Beck has earned a total of eight Grammy Awards — including one for his previous album Emotion and Commotion — and has recorded with everyone from Stevie Wonder and Buddy Guy to Tina Turner and Mick Jagger.
Jeff has shows lined up with Eric Clapton next month and then a huge world tour kicking off in March in support of his imminent new studio album Emotion & Commotion – his first since 2003 – and he’s named a band of stellar musicians to join him on his epic jaunt around the world.

The tour will include BECK’s current band: bassist Rhonda Smith, drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Robert Stevenson. BECK and DEPP’s 13-track album, 18, debuted at #10 on both the Billboard Top Albums and Top Current Albums charts marking the first top 10 for both Beck and Depp on the 31-year-old Top Album Sales chart.
