Skylarking is the ninth studio album by the English rock band XTC, released 27 October 1986 on Virgin Records. Produced by American musician Todd Rundgren, it is a loose concept album about a nonspecific cycle, such as a day, a year, the seasons, or a life.

La primera es la que va de 1977 a 1982, en la que XTC fue protagonista del período post-punk como una de las bandas más distintivas e inventivas. Eran entonces un cuarteto que completaban, al principio, Terry Chambers (batería) y Barry Andrews (teclados), formación que editaría dos fantásticos discos llenos de urgencia en 1978: White Music y GO2.
