Richard Eugene Cole (September 7, 1915 – April 9, 2019) was a United States Air Force colonel. During World War II, he was one of the airmen who took part in the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo , Japan, on April 18, 1942.

9 de abr. de 2019 · Retired Lt. Col. Richard E. Cole, the last surviving Doolittle Raider, has died. He was 103. "We're going to miss Col. Cole," Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein said Tuesday. Goldfein said that he'd received a call Tuesday from Cole's son that the World War II veteran had "reunited with his fellow Raiders."
