When we talk about the past, we sometimes want to refer to something which was in the future at the time we were speaking. We use past verb forms to do this: The last time I met her, she was leaving for a new job in Italy the following day.
Future in the past follows the same basic rules as the simple future. "Would" is used to volunteer or promise, and "was going to" is used to plan. Moreover, both forms can be used to make predictions about the future. Examples:

La afirmación con Futuro en el Pasado se forma usando el verbo auxiliar would (o menos frecuentemente should ) y el infinitivo del verbo principal. Future in the past significa literalmente «futuro enel pasado » y básicamente describe exactamente lo que queremos decir con esta construcción gramatical específica.
