The primary objective of the Autism Division within SC DDSN is to address the needs and improve the quality of life for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) within the state. The division focuses on promoting early intervention, diagnosis, treatment, and support for individuals with autism and their families.
We are currently the largest provider of ABA services in South Carolina. No other South Carolina organization offers our range of services and support for the autism community. As a service organization dedicated to evidence-based practices, we are a member of the Council of Autism Service Providers.
Carolina Autism and Neurodevelopment (CAN) Research Center. Mission: The mission of the CAN Research Center is to improve the health and well-being of families and individuals with NDDs, including autism, intellectual disability, learning disorders, and genetic syndromes (e.g., fragile X, Down Syndrome).
