Sid (motion captured by Misty Rosas, voiced by Drew Massey) always wished about being a scientist when he grows up. Sid is the most practical character on the show and is often portrayed as a very supportive friend and leading scientist in his group.
Misty Rosas (born August 14, 1973) is a stuntperson and suit performer who played Beary Barrington in the Creature Shop-effects film The Country Bears, and served as the motion-capture performer for Sid on Sid the Science Kid.
These performances include the title roles of Sid, in the PBS series "Sid the Science Kid", and T.J. in "T.J. Bearytales", and most recently, the Jim Henson Company/Netflix collaboration “Word Party”. Misty is the motion capture/body performer for the lovable, yet feisty and irreverent character, Lulu.
