State Route 65 ( SR 65) is a north-south state highway in the U.S. state of California. It is composed of two segments in the Central Valley. The southern segment begins at SR 99, near Bakersfield and terminates at SR 198 near Exeter. It also serves the communities of Oildale, Ducor, Terra Bella, Porterville, Strathmore, and Lindsay.

26 de feb. de 2023 · Caltrans planners say Highway 65 could begin as a two-lane route or a four-lane expressway, then expand to a foothill freeway. The vision, officials say, is similar to the long-distance I-5 corridor along the Valley's west side with interchanges every few miles.

CA 65 was one of the original 1934 signed state highways. Back in 1934 CA 65 ran from US 99 north to CA 180/Dunlap Road near General Grant National Park. CA 65 is now a split route with a large unbuilt segment in between the two sections, the portion north of CA 198 is now CA 245.
