Heat Miser and Snow Miser are two completely opposite elements of nature. They always fight each other and seem to be the main causes of destruction. They are the only members of the family who have “miser” title.
Plot. The feuding Miser Brothers (Heat and Snow) attend their family reunion with Mother Nature and their fellow siblings including the North Wind, Earthquake, Thunder and Lightning, and the Tides. The North Wind passively asks Mother Nature what might happen if Santa would be unable to complete his duties on Christmas.

Together, they visit the Miser Brothers. Unbeknownst to Mrs. Claus, Jingle and Jangle, or Iggy, Santa Claus has already rescued Vixen from the dog pound and is on his way up to the North Pole. They ask Snow Miser, who controls cold weather, to send snow to Southtown for a day.
In that special, the songs were respectively performed by Dick Shawn as the Snow Miser and George S. Irving as his brother Heat Miser .
16 de dic. de 2023 · These siblings — the sons of Mother Nature, of course — represented the extremes of weather, with Heat Miser controlling all things warm (against a hot background of red, orange and yellow) and Snow Miser (with a chilly blue and white backdrop) governing the cold and snowy.
Heat Miser is the more antagonistic of the two brothers; his mean, grumpy and hot-tempered personality partially comes from the fact that he feels that Santa Claus is unfair to him by giving Snow Miser lots of publicity while he gets none, and he believes that Mother Nature likes Snow Miser best. He also sings about his preference for hot weather.
