In Dine's version, however, the classical beauty of the Venus de Milo is magnified to a monumental scale. Standing 14, 18, and 23 feet tall, these Venuses are an imposing presence on 6 th Avenue in Manhattan, further magnified by their position atop of pools of water, upon which they cast a reflection.
