Tennant can be Michael. I think he could be really good in the role, although it would be a little awkward for me to see the face of the 10th Doctor in the role of William Afton. Well, he already played a purple MAN so him playing a purple GUY isn't such a stretch.
While David and William could be good in the role of Afton, it sounds good on paper but that doesn't mean it'll be good in execution. One example I can think of is Sylvester Stallone as Judge Dredd, that sound like great casting, but when the 1995 film Judge Dredd came out, Sylvester didn't play Dredd, he was playing Rocky cosplaying as Dredd, he was not good in the role.
