Thomas Aloysius Keller (born October 14, 1955) is an American chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author. He and his landmark Napa Valley restaurant, The French Laundry in Yountville, California , have won multiple awards from the James Beard Foundation , notably the Best California Chef in 1996, and the Best Chef in America in 1997.

25 de jun. de 2023 · Keller's first cooking job came in 1974 when he worked at the Palm Beach Yacht Club. He followed this up with a move to Rhode Island, where he did a stint at a country club under the tutelage of legendary chef Roland Henin. The French-born Henin would go on to mentor several notable American chefs, including Keller.
