Fenomenal. Es más limpia que otras piezas y recuerda a los temas de baile que se ponían (ponen) de moda, tipo twist, con pop vocal y pasitos para aquí y para allá. Pegadiza, simple, está entre lo más flojo del álbum. Más concepto fiesta-coña en “Drunken Maria”, dance punk con la borracha María incapaz de despertar. Levántate, no bebas más.

23 de abr. de 2009 · Black Monk Time reissue / The Early Years. No-one, seemingly, has anything but the utmost reverence for the Monks. All the right people have had the right word abroad for them. It’s getting to the point where they’ve become sacred cows (obscure 60s beat-punk division, admittedly).
Black Monk Time is the only studio album by German-based American garage rock band The Monks, released in March 1966 through Polydor Records. The album's subversive style and blunt lyrical content were radical for its time, and today it is considered an important landmark in the development of punk rock .
