Ryde or Die Vol. 1 is a compilation album from American hip-hop record label and collective Ruff Ryders, released on April 27, 1999 through Interscope Records and Ruff Ryders. The album debuted at #1, selling roughly 285,000 copies in its first week and was certified platinum on June 2, 1999.

Larsiny (then consisting of Shiz Lansky, Akbar, and Cassidy) was discovered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by Swizz Beatz's father Terrence Dean, and in turn, the group signed to the Ruff Ryders-subsidiary label TD Entertainment. Their breakout appearance was on the song "Ryde Or Die Boyz" from Ryde or Die Vol.2 in 2000.
On April 27, 1999, Ruff Ryders released its debut compilation album, Ryde or Die Vol. 1. It featured the first appearance of rapper Eve as a Ruff Ryder, as well as introduced new Ruff Ryders artists Infa-Red & Cross, and Raleigh, North Carolina Contemporary R&B group Parlè.
