Popa Chubby, (pronounced POP'-uh) stage name of Theodore Joseph " Ted " Horowitz (born March 31, 1960, in The Bronx, New York City, New York), is an American singer, composer, and guitarist.
Popa Chubby inició su carrera como músico independiente al crear su propio sello discográfico, denominado Popa Chubby Productions, en el que no sólo produce sus propios discos, sino también a numerosos artistas neoyorquinos. Theodore Joseph Horowitz, dit Popa Chubby, né le 31 mars 1960 à New York, est un chanteur et guitariste américain de blues et de rock. Son nom de scène est tiré d’une expression d'argot, « pop a chubby », qui veut dire « avoir une érection » [1].
Popa Chubby ist ein US-amerikanischer Electric-Blues-Sänger und -Gitarrist, der nach Jahren der Auftritte im Manny’s Carwash, einem bekannten New Yorker Blues-Club, gemeinsam mit seiner Band Mitte der 1990er-Jahre weltweit populär wurde.
