With powers manifesting at age 12 during a time when Mutants weren’t so common or empowered, the blue-skinned, shape-shifting mutant, later called Mystique, fights to survive. At the turn of the 20th century, while working as private investigator going by the name of Raven Darkhölme, she meets the blind mutant seer Irene Adler, AKA Destiny ...
However, she can use her powers to mimic the powers of others; such as assuming the form of Sabretooth, and then using his powers to enhance her senses, strength, speed, agility and, of course, naturally heal at an accelerated rate.
Powers and abilities. Mystique is a mutant shapeshifter with the ability to molecularly shift the formation of her biological cells at will to change her appearance and thereby assume the form of other humans and animals. She can also alter her voice to duplicate exactly that of another person.
The X-Men defeated Evolutionary and restored everyone's powers, allowing Mystique to escape jail. Mystique, however, would soon face her biggest fears realized in the worst way possible. Raven was sent back in time by the original X-Factor's sentient ship.
Abilities. Master Martial Artist: Mystique is a highly skilled hand-to-hand combatant, able to take out multiple guards with superb efficiency.
Due to the difficulties of translating Mystique's shapeshifting abilities to a fighting game, the series downplays those powers in favor of focusing on her martial arts abilities.
She trained her in how to use her mutant abilities and instructed her to steal Ms. Marvel's powers, an event that later caused Rogue to defect to the X-Men. Mystique functions as the leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants and served Apocalypse for a time.
