Mills College at Northeastern University in Oakland, California is part of Northeastern University's global university system. Mills College was founded as the Young Ladies Seminary in 1852 in Benicia , California ; it was relocated to Oakland in 1871 and became the first women's college west of the Rockies .
30 de jun. de 2022 · In September, Northeastern University and Mills College reached a historic agreement to merge our institutions and create something truly unique in higher education. Today, June 30, our partnership has been realized with the official establishment of Mills College at Northeastern University.
15 de sept. de 2021 · Starting in July 2022, the college will become Mills College at Northeastern University. The campus will also become gender inclusive starting in July. The board of trustees of Mills College in Oakland approved a merger with Northeastern University on Tuesday.
