We'll probably never hear an official cause of death. in an interview, one of his band members strongly implied it was long Covid-related. Sounds like the cause of death may have been heart or circulation related from that Rolling Stone interview and that the plane trip to Belgium and back may have hastened any issues.
Mark Lanegan passed away this morning. Fucking sucks. My copypasta from a different thread: Saw him open for Johnny Cash in Seattle about 1994 at was then the King Street Theater. Most people were understandably there for Cash. During his set people were coming and going and generally being disrespectful.
