The forced relocation that the movie portrayed happened in real life when the South African government tried to relocate a mostly black neighborhood.

    14 de ago. de 2009 · For a low budget movie, District 9 does look excellent. The cinematography, editing and effects are very, very good, and I did accept the aliens appearance wise. The soundtrack and sound also create a sense of foreboding and genuine atmosphere, the concept is amazing and the film does start off brilliantly.
