Nacido en Buenos Aires, Olivera empezó a tocar el órgano a los tres años. A los cinco tocó para la legendaria Eva Perón; a los doce ingresó en la Universidad de Buenos Aires y a los dieciocho ya había actuado para jefes de Estado y celebridades de toda Latinoamérica.
