Sen. Eric Randall Matthews is the tritagonist of Boy Meets World. He is the older brother of Cory Matthews, Morgan Matthews, and Joshua Matthews, the eldest child of Amy Matthews and Alan Matthews, brother-in-law of Topanga Lawrence-Matthews, and uncle to Riley and Auggie Matthews.
Sen. Eric Randall Matthews is one of the four central characters of Boy Meets World and a recurring character on Girl Meets World. In An Affair to Forget, it is learned that Eric's birthday is June 24, 1978.
He is best known for his role as Eric Matthews on the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World (1993–2000). In animation, Friedle's first voice acting role was the lead role in Batman Beyond (1999–2001) where he provided the voice of Terry McGinnis / Batman.
